This recipe for strawberry jello pie has been a favorite summertime dessert in my house throughout all of the years that I was growing up. After returning home from the nearest pick-your-own berry patch with a trunk full of strawberries (and a belly full), my sister and I would help my mom make lots of jam and several fresh strawberry jello pies.

This fruity pie isn’t quite complete without a big dollop of freshly whipped cream on top. Check out my recipe HERE for a super simple whipped cream you can make yourself.

In a medium saucepan mix together the sugar, water, and cornstarch.

Cook over medium heat until clear, stirring constantly.

Add in the strawberry jello mix.

Mix in the strawberries!

I used a pre-made and store bought graham cracker crust this time around. However, graham cracker crusts are super easy to make. Simply follow the instructions for the graham cracker crust from my recipe for White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake.

Pour into a pie crust of your choice.

Allow the pie to chill in the refridgerator until set.
